ID Theft Alert: Debit Card Phone Call

Recently an Eaton Family Credit Union member was fraudulently contacted regarding debit card transactions. Other credit unions in the area have reported similar phone calls too. We will not contact you to request your debit card number. In this case the member reported that the caller had a strange accent and purportedly worked in the Phillipines. Our security partner stated that callers will try to gain confidence through multiple phone calls with the goal of getting more personal information.
