ID Theft Alert: Debit Card Text Message

Recently an Eaton Family Credit Union member was contacted via text regarding debit card transactions. Other credit unions in the area have reported similar phone calls too.

"Community FCU Alert: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 877-571-8952 to REACTIVATE your CARD."

We will not contact you to request your debit card number. In this case the toll free number does not work. We recommend that you not respond to the text message. Click here for more information on identity theft.
