Eaton Family Credit Union’s spring “Easter Money Bunny” fundraiser totaled $658. The credit union will deliver funds to the Euclid Hunger Center, Willoughby Hills Food Pantry, The Children’s Miracle Network and Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Mike Losneck, President, Eaton Family Credit Union, remarked, “The generosity of our credit union members is matched by the creativity of our staff. Together we are able to support local and national charities that do so much for so many.” Donations of $2 or $5 gave credit union members a chance to win an Easter Bunny tagged with lottery tickets displayed at credit union offices in Euclid, Wickliffe, Willoughby Hills and Lincoln, IL. The Northeast Chapter of the Ohio Credit Union League held their Annual Scholarship Fund Bowl-A-Thon Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Scores Bowling Fun Center in Painesville. The chapter raised over $5,000 for their annual college scholarship and will also make a donation to Marching Miles for Miracle Kids supporting Children's Miracle Network and Ohio's Children's Hospitals. Participating credit unions were Port Conneaut FCU, LCE FCU, ACME FCU, L.E.O CU, Eaton Family CU, Cardinal Community CU, Lake County Educational CU and Lakeview FCU. Port Conneaut FCU won the coveted Golden Pin trophy for donating the most money. Since 1998 Eaton Family Credit Union has provided a holiday party and personalized gifts to the residents a group of special needs adults living in a large, beautiful home in Cleveland’s Collinwood neighborhood, near the credit union called Notthingham Home. In 2009 Eaton Family Credit Union raised over $4,000 for various charities including Marching Miles through the Children's Miracle Network, Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital, Race For The Cure, Relay For Life and more. The Eaton Family Credit Union, its employees and members donated $615 to Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital during this year’s Marching Miles through the Children's Miracle Network; the Searcy, AR branch also raised $50 for the Arkansas Children's Hospital.
