$25 Gift Card Winner - Pet Shelter Donation

Thomas from Willoughby Hills is the winner of a $25 Eaton Family Credit Union Visa Card. The credit union's Pet Shelter Donation Project raised over $360. The Fourth Quarter Morale Booster Team worked with the Euclid Animal Shelter and the Lake County Humane Society .

Charitable Giving

Since 1998 Eaton Family Credit Union has provided a holiday party and personalized gifts to the residents a group of special needs adults living in a large, beautiful home in Cleveland’s Collinwood neighborhood, near the credit union called Notthingham Home. In 2009 Eaton Family Credit Union raised over $4,000 for various charities including Marching Miles through the Children's Miracle Network, Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital, Race For The Cure, Relay For Life and more. Supporting Troops With Holiday Pens

For the fourth year in a row Ohio credit unions, friends and partners donated a tremendous amount of ink pens for deployed U.S. troops. Eaton Family Credit Union delivered over 120 pounds of pens to Global Glass Block in Euclid, OH where Tony LaPorte collects necessities for our troops throughout the year. Recently an Eaton Family Credit Union member was contacted via text regarding debit card transactions. Other credit unions in the area have reported similar phone calls too. "Community FCU Alert: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 877-571-8952 to REACTIVATE your CARD." We will not contact you to request your debit card number. Junior Achievement Involvement

Eaton Family Credit Union supports Junior Achievement . The thank you notes from Mrs. Hogan's class at St. William's in Euclid were very touching...here are some highlights: Shakeela: When I go to college I am going to study medical classes...I feel more confident that I will be a nurse because of this. Briana: My favorite part was when we made resumes. I'll totally use mine next year because I'll be 12 and that's the age allowed to babysit. Peyton: I am going to babysit. I gave my aunt my resume for this summer...My dad is going to Afghanistan and Iraq. I miss him while he is gone...he is very brave. Member Appreciation Day Is Sweet Success

Relay For Life Efforts Raise Over $550

Eaton Family Credit Union raised over $550 during the American Cancer Society Relay For Life held on May 15th & 16th at Euclid High School. “It was not easy staying up all night so the team really appreciated support from everyone who came by,” said Mike Losneck, President, Eaton Family Credit Union. $1,000 College Scholarship Winners

Eaton Family Credit Union is very proud to announce that Michael Maroney, Melinda Arko and Eric Hornung have each been awarded $1,000 college scholarships. “We had some great candidates this year and these three came out above all,” says Mike Losneck, President. “I like the fact that they’re superior students and are involved in extracurricular and community activities. Marching, Tweeting & Raising Money For Rainbow

The Eaton Family Credit Union, its employees and members donated $615 to Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital during this year’s Marching Miles through the Children's Miracle Network; the Searcy, AR branch also raised $50 for the Arkansas Children's Hospital. ID Theft Alert: Debit Card Phone Call

Recently an Eaton Family Credit Union member was fraudulently contacted regarding debit card transactions. Other credit unions in the area have reported similar phone calls too. We will not contact you to request your debit card number. In this case the member reported that the caller had a strange accent and purportedly worked in the Phillipines. Our security partner stated that callers will try to gain confidence through multiple phone calls with the goal of getting more personal information. Bringing Out The Millionaire In You

Jay Seaton presented an updated workshop focusing on debt. Credit union members found hidden ways to handle money and credit better so they could move from savings to investing. The program was sponsored by The Northeast Chapter of the Ohio Credit Union League Managers: ACME FCU, Bailey Controls FCU, Eaton Family CU, PACO FCU, PEF FCU, LCE FCU and WES CU. On a monthly basis they work to ensure credit union growth in the area by promoting educational and community programs.
