Credit union members find Hidden Money Secrets. Area residents and credit union members learned how to “Find Hidden Money Secrets” in five simple steps on Wednesday April 28, 2010 at Willoughby Hills Community Center. Jay Seaton, President, Consumer Credit Counseling Services, spoke about the importance of obtaining an annual credit report and included information from the credit union-sponsored Home & Family Finance Radio program heard every Sunday at 3:00 PM on WELW 1330 AM. “Every time I hear Jay’s presentation I learn something new,” said Terri Halaburda of ACME Federal Credit Union. “Area credit unions did a great job in promoting financial awareness to their members and the community” The Hidden Money Secrets financial education seminar and Home & Family Finance Radio program is sponsored by ACME FCU, Cardinal Community CU, Eaton Family CU, L.C.E. Thomas from Willoughby Hills is the winner of a $25 Eaton Family Credit Union Visa Card. The credit union's Pet Shelter Donation Project raised over $360. The Fourth Quarter Morale Booster Team worked with the Euclid Animal Shelter and the Lake County Humane Society .

Since 1998 Eaton Family Credit Union has provided a holiday party and personalized gifts to the residents a group of special needs adults living in a large, beautiful home in Cleveland’s Collinwood neighborhood, near the credit union called Notthingham Home. Briana: My favorite part was when we made resumes. I'll totally use mine next year because I'll be 12 and that's the age allowed to babysit. Peyton: I am going to babysit. I gave my aunt my resume for this summer...My dad is going to Afghanistan and Iraq. I miss him while he is gone...he is very brave. Riley: Every Wednesday I got so excited because I knew we were going to learn more. Abhay: When I grow up I want to be a cardio vascular surgeon because my mom is a nurse. Domenic: Thank you for teaching us about business. I like the game "Get Connected" the best. Jacob: Your volunteerism inspired me. Adrianna: I want to be a veterinarian when I grow u...
